Fake Advertisement
This is to inform you that I made a reservation with the hotel Clarks Shiraz Agra, and as per the advertisement I found the better deal in "Skyscanner" for Agoda, which redirected me to the application and booked a reservation, at first it showed me the rates with free breakfast and free WIFI, and when I booked through that I received a confirmation with no breakfast included, and then tried to get support, already shared them proof, but there support is unable to get that, shared in JPG, PDF, Screenshots, still they are denying for the fact this reservation is made without breakfast.

Having a real hard time getting my query resolved
I would not use Agoda.com again
I would not even give 1 star if 0 was an option. I booked a hotel in Berwick on Tweed, via Agoda, on Booking.com, back in April for 15th July. The initial confirmation incorrectly stated one guest, not the two requested. I then had huge difficulty contacting them as only a “chat” type contact was available, but I did finally get a second amended confirmation. Unfortunately they had not passed that on to the hotel, or booked the Superior Double I had booked. On arrival the hotel was only expecting one person and only a room used for single guests was available. Fortunately it had a small double bed and the staff did their best to accommodate us. We had no choice but to accept as the town was full. I have found it impossible to contact Agoda. I left a complaint with Booking.com Customer Services (no acknowledgement received)and have just received an email from Agoda claiming they haven’t been able to reach me by phone. If they had really tried, both my mobile and landline would show the missed call???

The user experience could trick you into buying non refundable booking
The "non refundable" text is so small and written in parentheses especially on mobile.
Everything else is big, bolded or colored, looks very promotional but the "non refundable" text is in smallest text, and shows only once when you start booking. I think such a critical information should be highly visible and should be confirmed with the user again before they make a final decision!
Poor Customer Service
Poor Customer Service. An agent named - Maylyn Joy , refused to support . He/She ended the chat immediately and I can feel the emotion.
Not professional at all. Not suitable work as a customer support.

Arrived to find a COVID hotel
Booked 1 night on a layover in Singapore through Agoda. Arrived at hotel only to be told by staff that it had become a COVID quarantine hotel. It was growing late, I was stranded in an area without taxis and had no Singaporean sim - hence no internet connection. Kind staff of the hotel went inside and made enquiries with Agoda, they simply said the booking was cancelled- though I was not notified, and refused to help book alternative accommodation. Never again.

Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar via Agoda
We requested a rebook on Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar for 8 people on Agoda. We were already on the property on the day but Agoda did not forward the booking to the Hotel.
In turn we instead, paid another almost another USD950 just to be accommodated.
Customer service does not even know what they are doing, even just to forward the booking, they missed it several times. Not recommending this site

Some good offers with options like free cancellation. Agoda is a subsidiary of Booking Holding also owning booking.com
I would give 0 stars if possible
I would give 0 stars if possible! I am having great difficulties getting them to honor their 'free cancelation' statement which was clearly stated at time of booking. Since April/22 I have been trying to communicate with them/customer service and get my refund but have received no replies to my repeated emails. They are ripping me - and likely other people off!!!

Agoda's false offerings cost us money
My wife and I, plus our two kids were looking for a room in Monterey, CA. Agoda displayed a room for 4 people at a hotel we had stayed at before. We booked it and arrived shortly afterwards. We tried to check-in but the clerk said the room consisted of one king bed only. He said that if we wanted a room with a bed plus sofa sleeper, it would cost an additional $50. I showed him our reservation for 4 on Agoda, he looked confused, called his Manager, and then refused to rent us a room for 4 unless we paid the extra $50. We left and found another hotel. Agoda charged us for the room and our credit card dispute resolution wouldn't refund the money we paid to Agoda.

Agoda has consistently provide a good deal and offerings. Some at more than expected.
Frustrating
We found the hotel we wanted to book via Google. I selected 2 adults and 2 children and my dates, and was then given a price. Then it gave me 4 options of who I could book through and I chose Agoda, as they were a little cheaper than the others.
When we arrived, Agoda had only made a reservation for the 2 adults which caused alsorts of problems. I should have double checked their confirmation to me, but travelling with a 1 & 2 year old, I didn't have time. I trusted myself to select the right options when booking, and looking at the Web page that was still open on my phone, it showed I had selected 4 people.
Just a word of warning about checking what you booked matches their confirmations.
It's the first time I have used their services and first impressions last as they caused a lot of frustration when we arrived.

I would give them zero stars if I…
I would give them zero stars if I could.
After the initial experience with them which was already bad, we were provided a credit to use with them so unfortunately had to book again through Agoda.
We booked two hotels in the one booking (which lo and behold took the full payment and did not utilise the credit we had?! This is a separate issue entirely)
Upon checking into the hotel - we found that the room we had booked "does not exist" and that Agoda doesn't have any right to sell their rooms.
While the booking was there, instead of a large 17m squared bedroom, with city views and a queen bed, we were provided a tiny 13m squared room, facing another building and two single beds. The room was so small we were unable to open our checked luggage without having it laid out on the bed due to no floor space.
When questioning the hotel regarding this issue, the hotel advised that they no longer partnered with Agoda and they had sold me something that does not exist. The hotel even provided me a written statement which I forwarded to Agoda.
Given that Agoda falsely listed a room and sold me something other than what was described, I am seeking a refund however Agoda is trying to get me to accept a penalty to cancel the booking in order to obtain this alleged refund. Why on earth should I be penalised for your mistake?! Speaking to your "Customer Service" representatives have achieved absolutely nothing and has been incredibly infuriating. They must be robots as each email response is literally a copy and paste of their previous email with ZERO ACKNOWLEDGEMENT of what I am saying in the slightest.
Will be taking Agoda to VCAT to pursue this further as this is not how a business should operate.

Agoda Cashback Forget It.
Agoda Cashback
Forget it, the properties just sit on pending. Try to contact Agoda by chat, to ask why, but all you get is robotic options that prevent you chatting to a human.

Poor Customer Service
I booked a B&B from Agoda. The hotel voucher did not arrive. Tried to log in and it did not recognise me. Asked for last 4 numbers on the card - I paid via Paypal so that didn't work. Kept on asking me for the booking reference on the voucher. I kept on saying that I don't have the voucher to give them the number. She asked me to confirm my email several times, which I did. Still didn't know me. Gave name of the B&B & booking dates. Still could not find the hotel voucher.I only got this far the second time of ringing. The first time the persons English was poor and she just cut me off. Never again!
